Letter from the Principal
Greetings Wildcat Families!
What a busy week for our Wildcats this week, as we celebrated our 1st Quarter Attendance Class Winners, Schoolwide Popcorn Party, and quarterly PBIS School store!
First Quarter Attendance Winners spent 30-45 minutes enjoying some water activities. Congratulations to the following classes:

A Wildcat Run for the Books - $32,000+ Raised for Woodland!
Our community showed up in a big way, together we raised over $32,000 for Woodland! A huge Wildcat growl for the students recognized for top dollars raised and/or most donors in their grade. Congratulations to the following students:

Fall Festival
Friends of Woodland PTO will be sponsoring our annual Fall Festival on October 24, 20252, on campus, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. This is an outdoor event, and students should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There will be:
- Carnival games
- Temporary tattoos
- An inflatable obstacle course
- Food Trucks
- Trunk-or-treat
And some new and exciting stations for participation!
And, if that's not enough fun, the night will end with a movie under the stars on the upper field, so bring your blankets, chairs and a flashlight. PLEASE visit the FOWPTO website to learn more information and purchase tickets, visit the Friends of Woodland website.

Sandy Springs Education Force Lightning 10K/5K
Saturday Morning, October 25, 2025
Sandy Springs Education Force (SSEF) invites you to sign up for the Annual 10K/5K Lightning Run. This fast, flat route is well known for providing runners opportunities for their best Peachtree Road Race qualifying times on a USATF-certified course. (There is also a step challenge and there are virtual options.) Registrants receive a wicking race shirt and swag bag. Top finishers on Saturday, October 25, 2025, will receive medals and a chance to win other prizes!
Your participation supports SSEF’s work in our school and other public schools in Sandy Springs. Please see the flyer in today’s newsletter.
National School Lunch Week
Do you know what is being served in your child’s school café? Fulton County School Nutrition menus feature healthier options, more fruits and veggies, locally sourced produce, chef-inspired recipes, and more choices for kids! To recognize the National School Lunch Program, serving nearly 30 million children each day, Fulton County Schools will celebrate National School Lunch Week from October 20-24, 2025. The fun and creative campaign theme this year is, “Taste the World: Your school lunch passport!”.

STEM Survey
Our students engage in various Problem Based Learning Lessons throughout the year. As part of this process, they often benefit from speaking to experts in various careers. If you would be willing to volunteer to be an ongoing partner with our school, please complete the Family Involvement Survey! We will reach out as opportunities arise!

Gifted Testing Update
IF your child was referred for gifted testing during our fall cycle, a consent was uploaded via Infinite Campus the week of Sept 8th. It can be found under "forms," and is required for your child to be tested. It only needs to be completed by one parent.
