Georgia Reads Day Logistics

Woodland Elementary is excited to take part in Georgia Reads Day! The entire school will be
reading The Very Last Leaf by Stef Wade, illustrated by Jennifer Davison, from 7:40 - 7:50 am.
Teachers will be accessing the book via myON and will be logging the total minutes read using
Beanstack.

  • What is myON? MyON is a digital reading platform that provides access to over 6,000 ebooks! Students can access their myON account through Classlink.
  • What is Beanstack? Beanstack is Fulton County School's digital reading log. Teachers and students can track their reading and participate in reading challenges. Students can access their Beanstack account through Classlink.

Optional Livestream Opportunity - Read with Coach Malcolm Mitchell @ 10:00 am

The Georgia Council on Literacy is excited to partner with Georgia Reads Coach Malcolm Mitchell and the Share the Magic   on Georgia Reads Day. Join Malcolm Mitchell and the Share the Magic Foundation for a Reading Rally at
the College Football Hall of Fame. Malcolm Mitchell, former UGA football star and Superbowl champion, has been
named the Georgia Reads Coach! He will be leading the rally to engage students across Georgia in reading activities.
Every student in Georgia can read with Malcolm and Share the Magic of reading!
GPB will broadcast live so that students and families can read with Coach Malcolm and engage in the Rally! GPB Website: gpb.org/georgiareadsday
