What is a School-Family Compact?
It is an annual agreement that outlines the collaborative efforts of families, teachers, and students to ensure that every student achieves grade-level standards and shares the responsibility for enhancing student success. The compact involves families, students, and staff signing it as a commitment to support academic learning, highlighting each party's accountability.
Jointly Developed
The School–Family Compact is jointly developed and revised with input from parents, families, staff, and community members of Woodland Elementary School. Input was collected through a variety of methods, including e-mail, parent surveys, and parent feedback forms. Families were offered flexible meeting times to give input on how the 1% of parent and family engagement plan funds should be used.
