Meet the WES Assistant Principal
Mrs. Tara Uremovich
Tara Uremovich has served in Fulton County Schools for the past 7 years, serving most recently as the Curriculum Support Teacher at Woodland Elementary School. In this role she has gathered and used data to support the curriculum, instruction, and learning for all students and staff. Additional roles she has held in her career as an educator have been Instructional Coach, STEM coordinator, and teacher. She has also collaborated with Fulton County Schools to create resources aligned to Georgia’s math standards and partnered with the Georgia Department of Education to support STEM education across the state.
In 2014, she graduated with a master's degree in urban Teacher Leadership from Georgia State University. With this degree and her experience, she developed a passion for being a life-long learner. She is a mom of two and is determined to help families and the community come together to achieve the highest levels of success.
