Meet the WES Assistant Principal

Mrs. Caitlin Sabers is in her 13th year with Fulton County Schools, during which she has served in more than 10 different schools across four zones. She has held various roles, including Special Education Teacher (grades 2, 3, 4, and 5), PBIS Coach, Instructional Lead, Specially Designed Instruction Coach, and Curriculum Support Teacher. She completed her graduate studies through Georgia State University's Tier 1 Educational Leadership Program and participated in Fulton County Schools' Aspiring AP Pathway, where she had the honor of working with many incredible leaders. Throughout her leadership journey, she has extended her impact and built meaningful relationships with students, staff, families, and community partners while maintaining a clear focus on student growth and achievement.

Caitlin leads with authenticity, empathy, passion, and a growth mindset. She believes that a positive school environment is a necessary foundation for high-quality teaching and learning. She embodies the philosophy that all students can and should achieve and is committed to ensuring that all students receive the support they need to reach their highest potential.

Caitlin and her husband, Matthew, have two children, Rhys (5) and Bryn (3), and a beloved Australian Shepherd, Ziggy. She enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, and running outdoors. On weekends and school breaks, she and her family often go camping, travel to new places, and can frequently be found cheering on the Atlanta Braves!

Mrs. Sabers is excited to join Woodland Elementary School as Assistant Principal and looks forward to partnering with faculty, staff, and families to help every student reach their full potential.
